Our ceremony in many ways was out of the box. My husband and I are of different Faiths, and in our small wedding party of 12, we had several religions including conservative Christian, Buddhist, Pagan and New Age present, and yet Joan's deep acceptance and respect, and exquisite social skills helped everyone feel at ease. She aimed for the universal human core experience of Love, and of our sense of Spirit or Sacredness by whatever name.
